Last week the weather in the south of the UK was a little out of the ordinary to say the least.  A significant increase in airbourne pollution was intensified with Saharan sand trapped in the cloud.  I took a chance, with a Photographer friend, to try some landscape photography from the Bison Hill vantage point in the Chiltern Hills.  We were lucky enough to get a few bursts of sunlight – but not many.  I used a 4 stop ND Grad Filter to get more detail in the sky and reduce the contrast between the ground and sky.
