Waltham Abbey, Essex, is the alledged resting place of King Harold, who famously died after being hit in the eye by an arrow in 1066 (ouch!).  Every year in October, the town have a King Harold Day with displays of traditional crafts, and to 6 year old mini R’s delight, fighting demonstrations.  For me, events like these, help me practice my event photography and candid skills, with the action here being so fast, continuous shooting made sure I captured the best of the show.
