28th September 2012, Woburn Sands, (a short, after school dash from Leighton Buzzard with the family), we joined the crowds to welcome Long Jump, Olympic Gold Medalist, Greg Rutherford back to his home town, where he unveiled a gold metal strip of 8.31m in length and a plaque to celebrate his amazing Gold Medal winning achievement.  It was an amazing atmosphere and just seeing how far he jumped marked out on the ground makes you realise what a long way it is, especially for 6 year old mini R!

Throughout 2012 it’s been fantastic to see the Union Flag, and red, white and blue everywhere with the Jubilee, Olympics and Paralympics, and makes you feel very proud to be British.
