Full Moon and Light Trails

Long exposure shots fascinate me, so I love having the opportunity to practice and to see what I can create.  After a sunset shoot, which finished with long lens images of Castle Acre, Norfolk, from a layby, I decided to have a go at capturing the light trails of traffic speeding past.  The bonus was the full moon, the challenge, getting it in focus!

  1. Always is a problem in getting all the elements together. Of course the moon is moving as are the stars so getting shots on long exposures is a bit trickey. The bottom shot is far more dramatic because it has a sense of movement. I have done shots like this with second shutter flash and people often think its a speed camera from a distance.
